Can gonorrea be cured with a 1g single dose of Azitromycin?

Hello. Finally, I have been diagnosed with gonorrhea. The Doctor gave me a single dose of 1g of Azitromycin and three days after I'm beginning to feel better. I'm extremely worried because I read that the treatment should consist of an injection of ceftriaxone alongside with the Azitromycin and I only received the Azitromycin. Could be this treatment effective for treating my gonorrhea?
