STD PANIC

I had an encounter with an escort three weeks ago. No penetrative sex took place, but during masturbation with scented oils she performed oral sex briefly. After two days I noticed itch in penis, and a need to urinate more frequently. After a week I had STD tests, bloods for HIV and syphilis and urine for chlamydia and gonnorhea, all of which came back negative after two week wait. I took single dose of azithromycin, and cefixime after tests as a precaution. After a futher week now suffering from testicle ache, which builds up during the day. I have been tested again, but need to wait another two weeks for results.
I am in a huge panic. This has been a huge mistake. I have avoided sex with my wife,  this whole sorry episode is causing serious stress, I have been a complete fool. Could the stress be causing the pain? Help

test results are back within a few days. don't wait for them to call you - call them after 3 or 4 days and ask if they are back. A simple dip in the office of your urine also would've given them quite a few answers too.

Thanks Grace, I have been back and had a second set of tests, but have to wait another 8-9 day for the results to confirm that nothing is wrong. But the stress and anxiety is getting the better of me. I should take comfort in the first negative results.

Think of it this way.  If you hadn't cheated and you were having these symptoms, would you even go to a doctor?  Would you think anything of it?

odds are you have a chemical urethritis from the oils that were used.

continue to follow up with proper testing as needed for your symptoms.  If it's been a full week since you completed your antibiotics, be seen again for further urine testing and also prostate exam to look for signs of infection.

drink plenty of water to keep your urethra flushed. don't look at your penis except to aim for the toilet so you don't add to your anxiety and keep yourself busy and away from sitting in front of the computer obsessing over looking for "answers" to your situation.

you can get std's from oral but the risk of such is fairly low.

Based on my own experiences on this forum, stress IS causing the pain.  The same thing is happening to me.  Based on the Drs. assessment of my situation which is medically identical to mine, you are in the clear.  I have not gotten my test results back, so you're in even better shape.

We have to be better to our wives.  This will fix the pain.
