Kissing and Oral Sex....STDs?

Hi forum,

I was with a guy last night where we french kissed for about 3 minutes and then he gave me oral sex for about 1 and a half hours to 2 hours unprotected. I did urine right after and washed off right away too (dont know if that helps lol). He says he is disease free and all but I wanted to know if I am at risk for something and if I should be tested. He likes giving oral to people and was tested 3 months ago for everything and was negative.

kissing is not a risk for std's.

washing up after a sex act just makes you less sticky and smell better. it doesn't reduce your risk of std's at all. infection occurs during the sex act itself, the germs don't sit on the skin and work their way down into the body.

this is low risk in general and we don't recommend testing unless you develop any symptoms.

the best way to protect yourself is to only give and receive protected oral sex. it's a bit naive to trust that a stranger is telling you the truth about their std status so protect yourself :)

usually you'll develop symptoms within the next week or two if you were infected.
