Broken condom

Hi I had sex with a sex trade worker and the condom broke. I pulled out right away then I ejaculated on my hand. I went to the washroom right away and washed up. I am currently on Azitromicina 500 “3 pills” one pill a day. I ran it for 2 days and missed a day and had the encounter the 4th day in the morning. I took the 3rd pill right away. I also noticed a red ring around the tip of my penis right after. I’m guessing that was from the condom irritating my penis from the pressure before breaking. Would like a answer from a doctor. Ty.

Hi and sorry about this but bottom line, weather this is low risk or high risk you were exposed to all stds and should test at the recommended waiting periods. I would not be overly worried from such a  brief encounter but none the less the risk exists. Better to play it on the safe side and test.

I keep hearing if I’m on antibiotics some std are prevented.
Possibly. You aren't taking them regularly, so it might not work.

You have a pretty low risk anyway, since you pulled out right away. I'd stop taking the antibiotics you probably don't need and just test in a couple of weeks.
What’s the exact risk of hiv from my encounter?
You used a condom for this encounter. Given you withdrew immediately after the break, I would say it's quite low for HIV. If you are under 72 hours from this event, you can go to the medical hospital and request PEP intervention.
I got her to do a test and everything came back negative on her end. She sent it to me.
What are the possibilities of getting hiv. She seemed honest. She went and did the test for me and showed me her results the next day when she revived them. After the condom broke I pulled out right away. Just need to know the facts of transmission from my encounter. Ty
Have been on azitromicina 500 for the last 5 days and plan to finish in 3 days. Should this also protect me from Sti? The encounter happened on my 4th day on medication. I had missed the 3rd day and popped my I had popped 3rd pill right after the encounter that morning. Would this medication help with the Sti exposure?
This is the general std forum and not hiv but will answer. You have less than 1 percent risk for HIV. I wouldn't take pep for that low of a risk. Test at 28 days with a 4th generation test after the exposure and expect it to be negative. Remember, less than 1 percent chance.
