i have redness and itching on the outside of my vagina please can i get an answer on what that would be?

A couple of days ago i had sex with someone i barelly knew,at forst we used a condom but then for some stupid reason he took it off, he couldnt maintain an erection,2 days after my vagina started smelling bad and i had itching and redness on the outside,i douched and drank some antibiotics (difulcan) but the itching and the redness havent gone away...Im scared it might be an STD... please can someone tell me what it might be???? I need an answer soon... THANXS

Finally went to my clinic and got checked and efectively it was tricomonas... i got treated and am on antibiotics, and while i was there got tested for all stds and hiv... so i feelso much better and now i can sleep...BUT I WILL NEVER HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX AGAIN...THANKS FOR ALERTING ME AND GIVING ME SOME INFO...

Trichomonas is an std.  Bacterial vaginosis is not.

It sounds like you could have trichomonas.  But that is similar to bacterial vaginosis as as well.  You should go for testing to be sure and get treated properly.  Oh, and douch*ng is very very bad.  It actually causes yeast infection and that is what you self treated for but your symptoms are not of yeast infection.  This is why we do not advise on self-medicating.
