Chlamydia treatment

I have had a thick yellow discharge and burning sensations after urination, for about 3 days. Today I went to the clinic, and they got me to urinate into a bottle. She said the results will come in 3 days or so. She gave me a penicillin dose of four pills anyway, since I had visible symptoms of either ghonnorea or chlamydia. My question is, if my symptoms do go away, when is it safe to become sexually active again ?

All symptoms we.t away on the 2nd and 3rd days. I also had chlamydia in my throat. It had white things on both tonsils. All white stuff went away.except on my left tonsil i have one white thing only and my throat feels uncomfortable. And on my vagina i no longer have the discharge it had woth the chlamydia but there is a clear discharge that make my underwear look wet, but its not pee.can somene help me please. Im worried it can still be chlamydia or probably an infection the chlamydia caused like a uti, yeast or something?  And what about my throat?  Im scared. First time i have anything.

They typically recommend you abstain from sex for 1 week and if the symptoms have resolved you are probably clear.  They may also recommend you return for a confirmation test in a week or two.
