Herpes, HPV and my relationship?

Hi,

I'm a 24 y/o male and last week I received the news that I was HSV-2 positive, after no unprotected sex for nearly a year, other than with my girlfriend of the last 4 months. I had no idea, no symptoms until 2 weeks ago, completely out of the blue. She has had no symptoms and her last sexual encounter was 7 months before we started seeing each other. She has been very positive and optimistic about the situation and what it means for both of us going forward. Unfortunately I was also diagnosed in September 2017 with HPV warts, precisely 5 weeks after a particular one night stand. I had the warts treated several times and by January the warts had gone and did not recure for 3 months, under my sexual health clinics advise this was considered the end of the warts and I could continue with my life, enter my now girlfriend... In the aftermath of my first HSV OB, a wart has appeared in the exact same place as before, devastated as I now have to explain this to my girlfriend right on top of the herpes bombshell and to discover if she has been affected by the HPV.
So, after reading more into the HPV it appears for young healthy people such as ourselves that the HPV will clear within 2 years, with a little help from various treatments. The HSV however, I know only time will tell how each of us react to the virus.

My biggest battle so far has been with my mind, I'm a strong person but my life has been turned upside down and forever changed in what feels like overnight. I'm scared of the pressure this will put on my new relationship and life in general, the amount of feelings and emotions present are overwhelming.

My question is, how will our sex life be affected during HPV treatment and carrying HSV, is there much point in using condoms? Can the warts be spread further or can their complete eradication be prolonged with unprotected sex?

Professional advise and any help much appreciated
