Can parasites stay on sex toys?

Sorry about my English. I bought a vibrator online about a year ago, it was clean when I recieved it. However I forgot to wash it under flowing water, but instead clean it with a wet wipe which has no effect of disinfection. I was afraid it might be used by other people and the seller just repacked it and sold it to me......:(
I checked for stds during the physical examination half year after I bout the toy, the results was all negative, and I have no discomfort symptoms in the following time. However I read rencently that some intestinal parasites can be transmitted throught sex so I was anxious. Can parasites stay on sex toys? Do I have a risk of catching any of them?I have OCD and paranoid symptoms so i'm not sure if it's something I should really worried about or it's just the symptoms of ocd.....Thanks for any help

The only way anything can be transmitted from a sex toy is if it used by someone, then IMMEDIATELY used on someone else.

If you purchased it, and it was packaged, that means there was plenty of time for parasites and all germs on it to die by the time you used it, even if it had been used before.

You're fine.
