To Grace

Hi Grace ,
          Thanks for ur previus ans.
I had two  sores on my scrotum .I was worried about Genital herpes .I had gone to specialist doctor yesterday and gave blood for VDRL,IGM and @IGM Test.the result will probably come tomorrow.

But today one sore has dried ohter also seems like will dry soon .
they are not causing burning anymore .

MY QUESTIONS :

1)How likely is it herpes .as outbreak occured over a period of 5 months(it was protected sex)
2) Can herpes sore dry in 2-3 days??
3)I had protected sex multiple times(5 times) with pros and kissing. Are these vector for HEP B transmission. Do i need HEP B testing??I have had not any illness, fever during this 5 motnhs time .
4) Dr h says test mentioned above a re not reliable .which test should i take if the result are poz . and are negative results reliable?

thanks

Did you mean the igm and the igg herpes blood test?  The igm will be of little use - call and ask them to cancel it and save you the money ( see all of HHH's threads on this ).

your symptoms could be many things - sounds like you are covering all the bases.  If all your tests come back negative - next time you have symptoms - see a dermatologist for a further work up.
