Should I invent a story to make the doctor believe my symptoms

I am a 43 yo male & recently returned from a Thailand holiday with my wife, where we we together for the entire time & had no sex with anyone apart from each other. On the return flight I went to the toilet, straight after a gentleman emerged & noticed a yellowish fluid in spots on the seat. I wiped this up with paper before sitting & got some on my fingers in the process, the water did not work so I just wiped the fluid off, sat down & did my business, I was half asleep at the time & inadvertantly & not thinking, rubbed my eyes & may have touched other parts of my face, I went back to my seat & thought nothing more about it. 2 to 3 days later I had very itchy eyes & a sore throat, I saw the doctor & was prescribed Amoxycilin for the throat infection. During this time my wife & I were having normal unprotected sex including oral & were still together the whole time as we were still on holidays. After another couple of days I noticed I had discharge from my penis & my wife had excessive discharge during sex. I knew I had Gonnorehea straight away because I had it a couple of times in my 20's. I immediately went to see my doctor & told him the story. On hearing this he scoffed at me & laughed in my face, then said you can't catch it that way, sent me for urine tests which came back negative (I think because of the Amoxycilin), he told me it was just some Viral infection & the test would not be wrong even with the presence of the antibiotic. At this point I knew I had to do something myself so I souced some Cefixime 400mg & Azithromycin 1g & treated myself & my wife.
My Question.... Should I invent a story when I go for a "TOC", about me having sex with 3 or 4 Thai prostitutes at the same time while my wife waited outside (although it sounds impressive), or should I just go with the truth again...???

you were never, EVER at risk for a std from this. don't be silly and stop fixating on the thought that you have a std!!

No not yet & sorry for the confusion of my last post, I was being slightly sarcastic.
If anyone believes that the transfer of the Gonnorhea bacteria can ONLY be transmitted via sexual contact, is residing in a land of hopes, wishes & dreams.
I am living proof that it can happen because I can account for all of my own & my wifes time, before the onset of symptoms & I cas also trace back to how it happened & the course the bacteria travelled between us.
With th bacteria itself becoming more & more resistant to antibiotic treatments, is it not understood that it is also becoming more virolent & therefore more adaptable in overcoming the body's defences & the sites it can enter & spread???
In answer to your question, no she has not, but we will give it a week for the antibiotics to work & leave our systen enough as to not compromise the "Test of Cure", I may also go with the story about the prostitutes until we are cleared, so that there is no barriers to out treatment & once cleared I will tell them the truth & they can either take it or leave it at that point.

Awsome thanks for the info, I won't have to go for a "Test of Cure" now. Although I was slightly worried that if I touched an active bacteria & transfered it to any mucus membranes in either my eyes or mouth I would give it a place to grow & spread, then transfer to my partner.
But I am glad there is no way possible for this to happen & it seems to be clearing up a little now anyway so I'll wait out a while until I see the doc again, since he said it was only some viral infection that would clear itself.
Thanks again
