Chlamydia in anus?? Help!!

Hello I was diagnosed with chlamydia about 12 days ago and I am being treated, but still having frequent urination. I also had my period and the blood from my vagina will sometimes rush to my anus and if I still have chlamydia, could my rectal area be infected? Also my next visit to the gynecologist is in 6 days and I was wondering if gynecologists can do rectal swabs by request?

no, you won't get chlamydia from kissing someone.

the azithromycin stays in the body for several days.

you are being treated for chlamydia and it will take care of chlamydia in the anal area too if you have it there.

Make sure they do urine testing when you are seen again if you are still urinating frequently to make sure you don't also have an uti going on.

it's most helpful when you just keep addding to your original post instead of making a new one each time. we ask this in our read before posting post on the forum. thank you for your future cooperation with this :)
