Crabs and Infidelity

I've been married for 14 years and monogomous and was diagnosed with crabs last week.  My husband claims he has been faithful too, but admitted to masturbating in a booth at a bookstore.  Could he get this there?  Can I believe that he has been faithful?   Thanks.

The booth sounds plausible.

I have had the misfortune myself of getting the crabs years ago.  I was not sexually active at that period of time and can say confidently that I got them from a toilet seat.  The eggs live for an extended period of time making it very difficult to get rid of them. So long that the only way I could get rid of them was to put all of my underwear and bed sheets in a plastic bag for a couple of weeks allowig the eggs to die before cleaning everthing for reuse.
