Crabs question

I was itching for two weeks and then thought I had jock itch so I put this zinc oxide powder on my genital area Well I noticed on my inner thigh that same night that I had some type of creature there so I took it off and flushed it. Well im not itching any more. Im assuming it was a crab. I trimmed my pubic area. Is it common to only get one crab on you? How many eggs is one crab capable of laying?

ok i found what i beleive are crabs. i ended up picking off like 100 bugs off my crotch middle of december. I bought rid not sure if its been working. I also bought coconut oil and neem oil shampoo since I read online it may kill lice. I also have been rubbing my body with listerine. One question I have about listerine is how long does it take to kill the lice? Im wiping the listerine on my body with a rag and it dries within 10 minutes. Going to see a doctor if this doesnt work because I have no insurance and would probably cost me 200 for the visit. Cant afford to see a doctor yet if these home remedies will kill it. Spent 60 bucks so far in supplies for this.

1 no that is not common. see a Dr. most of the time you can't see them...they are that small
