Do I need Testing or am I just paranoid?

Okay,

I had a woman give me unprotected oral sex back in Jan, she did it for about 20 min or so.   I then gave her oral sex unprotected for 5 min before I freaked out and left.  We only had kissing for a few min and I licked her breasts for maybe a min or two that was it.. NO intercourse.

Since then I have had no symptoms of any STD's....I have had no discharge, leaking, pain, abdominal pain, oral sores, or anything.  I just have been obsessing about STDs for some reason since..This was my first encounter with any other woman since my wife divorced me and left in Sept of 09.

I had a physical back last week and my doctor told me that he doesnt think I need testing for STDs because the situation doesnt sound like it warrented it. He told me if I get symptoms come in and they can do a test.  The weird thing is the woman who did this to me texted me the same day I told my doctor about the encounter, im not a psychic believer but I was weireded out by the same day text.

Do you guys think I need testing?  I had a cold 5 weeks after the encounter, just had phlgam, snezzing, mild mild sore throat no rashes or discharge or fever.

I am thinking about going in April 15 or so to get an STD test for everything, I cant tell if im just guilty for the encounter or worrying.

Please help

I am a believer in thing happen for a reason but to take something like a woman texting you as a sign to get tested is anxiety talking. Maybe she had a good time and wanted to meet up with you again.

Test to ease your mind, but I see no medical reason to test.

Vance,

It happened the SAME day that I had the doctor's appointment and told my doctor about the encounter...I just was freaked out about it, you know like why did this text happen that same day, you know like faith telling me to get a test..

I know im probably just obessing and she may just wanted to say hello.
