Please Help STD Question

Please Help!!!!

I’m a 34 year old married guy… yet last week, I went out with a stripper, who performed unprotected oral sex on me (for approx. 5 minutes) and then we had protected vaginal sex.  This is the first time I have cheated on my wife… I know... horrible thing to do!   Anyway, there was some kissing involved.  After oral sex I did NOT notice any blood on my penis and after vaginal sex, the condom also seemed intact.  HOWEVER, the day before of this encounter, I made a small cut / scratch on my penis while grooming myself.  I know that I screwed up, I have so many doubts about this… can you please help me?
1) Should I take an HIV test because of the small scratch / cut on my penis?
2) Should I be tested for a specific STD?  If so, how much time should I wait?
3) I always use a condom when having sex with my wife… are there any risks involved for her if I have an STD (because of this single encounter)?

Thanks,

John

John...

I understand your nervous, me too...

i am very worried now, i received unprotected oral sex from a CSW, both penis and anus....

i hv developed a slightly raised skin 1/2 cm less than 24 hrs and now is Day 13, the skin is flat and grossly look and i hv no pain and no itchy.

I hv seen a GP, he told me is due to abrasion... as you know, i just feel nervous.

Since your one is already over 2 mths, and no other symptom, i think you are alright.

odds are this isn't a std going on. if you are concerned, see your provider.

Anyone else?  PLEASE!  A day after I found this "pimple", it has now almost disappeared... should I get tested?

Hello Jessy,

Sorry to bother you again but something has changed since we last exchanged comments.  I just found that a tiny small pimple (or what it looks like one) appeared right about the area where I made a scratch / cut on my penis two months ago… do you think this is just coincidence or a sign of Syphilis and/or genital herpes?  Do you recommend that I get tested for these or something else?

Thanks!

What would change them to yes?....

lets see...

Even if you had UNprotected vaginal penetrative sex with her, I would still say the chance of getting infected with  HIV is still low.  Although the risk would be a bit higher, in general, the odds would still be in your favor that you did NOT get HIV.

The risk is bit elevated with bacterial STDs.

Unporotected oral sex poses zero risk for HIV and we don't recommend STD testing from it.

For peace of mind, If you would have had UNprotected vaginal sex with her we would recommend testing for HIV at the 3 month mark.  We would recommend testing if symptoms appear between 3 to 10 days post exposure for bacterial urethritis causing STDS.

You put yourself at risk for STDs when having unprotected sex.  This doesn't necessarily mean your going to get something, it means you put yourself at risk, so testing is recommended.

Again, though the answers sound too good to be true; this is not a ticket to go out and have crazy sex with hot strippers (yes I know they are hot), but the truth is STDs are real and the risk is there, it comes when condoms fail, or the persons does not know what they are doing.

I'd say stay away from strippers/CSW, un-inhibited druken sex etc.  Its just not worth putting your health at risk.    If you read these forums you'll see the damage it causes ---just not worth it.  Just not worth it.

Sorry to keep insisting about this, but I have kept thinking and the answers seem too good to be true!  What would change them to yes?  Should I be worried only if symptoms appear?

Hello

I hope we can help.

1) no
2) nope
3) not really.

You describe a low risk encounter for STDs,
You were at ZERO risk for HIV and chlamydia, from what you describe.  We don't recommend testing for such a low risk exposure for the rest of the STDs.
