Gonorrhea risk from protected oral?

Hi everyone,

I gave a guy a bj a few months ago. He didn't ejaculate and he was wearing a condom the entire time.

I've been told that gonorrhea transmission in this type of situation is unlikely. Is that true?

Well, yes. you can get oral gonorrhea of the throat by giving oral sex. You also can give it to someone if you have it and give oral sex. The good news is that it will self resolve within three months. It literally goes away. But during that time, you don't want to give gonorrhea to anyone by giving them oral sex. There are often no or few subtle symptoms. So it's hard to know. YOU are in no danger. It will go away and isn't a big deal. But it is the chance of spreading it if you give oral sex to anyone during the time in case you have it. It doesn't mean you do have it either. Just that there is a possibility. You could go to a doctor or a clinic for a throat swab to be sure or wait it out.

Thank you for your answer. However, the oral sex was with a CONDOM, so I need to know about risk in this scenario
Oh, I see. Well, that's not a risk.
Thank you very much
