Is it possible to catch a STD from a washbasin by washing your genital?

Dear Sir or Madam,

Recently I was in a brothel in which it is customary to go to a room with a lady and wash the genital by a washbasin. Now I want to know if you can catch an STD via the washbasin, e.g. from the previous visitor who also used it probably some minutes earlier. What is it like when the glans of the penis touches it or the washcloth touches both, the washbasin and the glans? The washbasin looked clean and the washcloth was unused. What I do not know is whether the washbasin was disinfected. Is there a practical risk or should I not worry about it?

Thank you in advance for the answer and best regards

Any other bacterial infection etc., you might. Depends on the cleanliness of the place. But NO STDs. Generally if its a legal brothel, they will keep it clean so you shouldn't worry.

You did NOT catch anything from the washbasin. STDs are not spread by such contacts.
