worried after sex with prostitute

Hi everyone I am just wondering if anybody is able to help me.

My situation is that I had sex with a prostitute in a brothel. She gave me oral with a condom on and we then had vaginal sex and she finished me using her hand without condom.

My worry is that afterwards I checked the condom and there was a tear right at the tip. I am now very worried that I may have caught an STD or even worse HIV. I have had a few symptoms since the encounter 4 weeks ago:

- within a week I had cold/flu sore throat etc
- after 2 weeks my penis head and foreskin become pinky/red and a mild rash appear. Foreskin is sticking to the penis head like a band aid sticks to skin so I have to peel it back carefully and slowly. There is no discharge whatsoever and I am a very clean person. Also the very tip of my urethra is a little itchy.
- after 3 weeks I feel sick and have diarrea and vomiting for a day or two...since then I still have stomach cramps and nausea after a week.
- it is now 4 weeks since the incident and I am very worried will be going to STD clinic tommorrow but results take 5 - 10 days.

If anyone could please help me I would really appreciate it. My questions are:

1) Do my symptoms resemble any STDS such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis or HIV?

2) If the prosititute was HIV positive then what are the odds of catching the infection from this 1 encounter?

3) if i do not have an STD what is causing rash on penis and foreskin sticking to the head?

Many thanks to anyone who can help!

Over 90% of men get symptoms with gonorrhea and it is discharge. If you don't have discharge then I would not worry about it.

I don't see symptoms being liked to a STD.

Hi Vance thanks for your reply it is appreciated. I am worried that my symptoms may point to gonorrhea. I also forgot to mention that my testicles feel a little swolen and tender/bruised. I read somewhere that a feeling of 'not being quite right' in the stomach is common for people with the infection along with cramps/pains etc. Is this true as my stomach feels like this where I just feel ever so slightly sick constantly for the last week and getting a few cramps and pains too. But as I don't have burning when urinating or any discharge I am unsure. From reading all of my symptoms would you say there is a chance it could be gonorrhea or soemthing else?

Many thanks

1) No they do not
2) Post in the HIV forum, which I think I answered this already in that forum
3) You would have to talk to a Dr abotu that.

Testing would be wise for gonorrhea and chlamydia at this point. Syphilis at 6 weeks, HIV at 3 months and Herpes at 3-4 months.
