Ive just been prescribed doxycycline to cure my chlamydia (i hope finally) and i know i have to take it for seven days and refrain from sex. But after the seven days, am i ok to have sex again with my partner?? do we need to wear a condom?? or will it be cured?

Ok, then after 7 days it should be cured, but if you want to error on the side of caution then use a condom for another week or 2. And you can retest at about 3 weeks after medication to be 100% sure.

This should be in the STD forum.

Was your partner tested and treated?

I would wait just to be on the safe side.  Always wear a condom anyway.
