Hi Grace,
Thank you for your response. To answer your questions I do not know if I have had my Gardasil shot for HPV and yes I have a regular partner that I wish to protect. Would I have likely had this shot as a youth?
I waited to reply as I had a 10-panel STD screen along with a urinalysis. All STD results came back negative and everything screened in the urinalysis was within normal/negative ranges except the WBC esterase which was "1+ abnormal". Although the microscopic reported my WBC range 0-5 which is within the normal range. Also examined in the urinalysis was pH, protein, glucose, ketotines, occult blood, bilirubin, nitrite, RBC, epithelial cells, mucus threads and bacteria. All results were normal/negative.
I'm confused about the "1+ abnormal" results but the microscopic WBC count was 0-5. Does this mean anything? Do I need to see a physician to be further examined?
Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it and this board.
ngu just means it wasn't gonorrhea causing your urinary symptoms. Many other causes of it and most of them are not an issue for females except of course chlamydia.
to best protect yourself, make sure the oral sex is protected too. Even what is "normal" mouth bacteria, isn't always so normal when introduced into the urinary tract so it's the best way to save yourself trips to the clinic when you have symptoms.
have you had your gardasil shots for hpv?
do you have a regular partner to protect?
