HPV

I am 5 months pregnant and i also have a baby.. I recently discovered i have hpv.. i never had smear test before.. but i had perineoraphy after my first delivery due to my perineum ruptured badly.. at that time they check my cervix and they didn’t observe any pepilomas .. now i have papilomas on my cervixs.. i only had one sexual partner.. my first baby is now 15 mo.. does it mean my partner is cheating on me? I know hpv has long latency .. but if i get it before it must have shown after my previous pregnancy when i had surgery.. papiloma appearing now means that i recently contracted it?

How long have you been with your partner? Has he had partners before you?

We know that in 90% of people, HPV clears from the body within 2 years. In others, it just takes longer.

If you've been with your partner for a lot longer than that, though, chances decrease that it's a long existing infection, and become more likely that it's new.

It's really hard to say if he's cheating on you based on this alone. Based on it being 2 years, exactly, since you got pregnant with your first one, it's a possibility, but it's not a definite.

Also, it wouldn't have shown during your previous pregnancy unless they did a smear, and it was active at that time. It can be dormant and not found on smears.
Its been 4 years to our marriage..
Four years is possible, but it's on the long side, and if you've had smears since, it's unlikely.

What is he saying?

If this is your only evidence of him cheating, it's not definitive proof.

I'm sorry I can't give you more definite answers.
