what could this be?

Roughly 6 months ago a woman performed oral sex on me for under 30 seconds with no protection, no ejaculation took place.  5 days later after sleepless nights I went in for testing.  Ghon, & Chl swabs, HIV, Syph and Hep blood tests were all given and came back negative after a couple days.  I visitid my regular doctor twice as well just for reassurance.  about two weeks later I noticed the very tip of my penis was redish, it looked like a distinct line around the very tip, nothing else.  I went to the Dr. and he said it is not noticeable and nothing to worry about so I tried to forget it.  about 2 months after the incident I had the same redness around the tip but also developed redness on the head and a little on the underside nothing on the actual penis besides the head but the aggravation appeared as it was coming from the urethra so I tried to wait this out but nothing so I was prescribed Cipro for a week, nothing...

about two months ago I still have the redness symptoms and no burning or anything like that but twice in different months i did have a completely clear very very sticky mucous like discharge that was very light and did not come back so I thought it may of been pre *** or something of this nature.  I called a physician recently because of another problem, I had some redness in the scrotum however no reel pain or anything like that just a bit of redness that seems to increase with itching and sometimes is worse than others, i dont know if this may be Epididymytis or not becasue I can feel the Epidyms lumps so this may be the case, i called a physican and they prescribed my Doxycycline for a week to cover the problem if it were Epididymytis.

My main concerns are from my description what could are the possibilities this could be?

Was the test after 5 days sufficient for Ghon and Chlam?  I dont think HIV, is possible and there are def. no symptoms of HErpes due to the persistent nature and nothing like Syph.

will the Doxy treat the Epididymytis if this is in fact what it is?

The assistance is helpful and thanks in advance....

Its possible its NGU, but the doxy should have cleared that up.

I think you need to go back to see the doctor.  Giving you meds without an exam is not the best they can do.

So after 5 days since the ghonn swab test is enough time, what are the chances this test didnt detect it if this is what I have?  I am just trying to figure out what it could be, is it possible it is NGU?  If so would this Doxy I am on now clear it up?

Yes I did test negative from the swab test but I am concerned about the test becasue it was only 5 days after the exposure.  Is this adequate time for Ghonn and Chlam to be detected?  I figure the Doxy would clear up the chlam if this is what it is.

You tested negative for gonorrhea, correct?

Redness can be from irritation if you are checking it a lot.  You could also be experiencing an allergy to a new detergent, soap, etc.

The doxy might help it.

But what about the redness on the penis glans?  It has been pretty consistent throughout the last several months sometimes worse or better but it is always still there.  also if i did have epididymytis would the doxy do anything for it at all?  Thanks for the thoughts and help...   Also i know Gonnarhea symptoms differ but is discharge pretty prominent or is it minimal?  I have never had any prominent or colored discharge...

From 30 seconds of oral sex, you really aren't likely to get anything, and epididymitis usually causes severe pain, so I doubt you have that.

Since you can feel something, you should get an exam and see if you have a cyst, a varicocele, etc.  I'd suggest picking a doctor and sticking with one - you get far better care that way.
