Had sex for few min and its worrying me now

Dear Doctor,

I never had sex before and yesterday evening I had it with a female stranger. The oral went for 2 min and I had condom (Trojan Spermicidal one) during the oral as well as Vaginal. After 3-4 hours I got a sore throat which is really bothering me a lot. Kindly tell me what sort of issue is that, I am not able to sleep the whole night.
I am not sure after taking off the condom I cleaned my hand soon or not. or I might have touched my nose or mouth part. Will there be any problem associated with it. I believe sore throat is also one of the symptoms right? Please clarify me. Thanks.

noo i did not .....I never know anything about the STDs before the sexual encounter.... But however it happened and I happened not to touch any part of her body and no foreplay also happened... the encounter started with putting the condom on and a brief oral sex with condom followed by the vaginal sex for less than a min....i ejaculated outside her vagina and removed the condom and cleaned my penis head...this is all happened.....and I contracted this nasty thing from this act.....

condoms are not 100% protection against hpv. also if you just wait to put the condom on prior to penetration and have naked foreplay, you can also contract hpv from that too.

did you have your gardasil shots prior to this?

I have seen one more doctor today and she confirmed that they are genital warts but they are very tiny and in the primary stage. I need to use condylox solution. But since I used a condom why did I get them and that too they appeared over the retracted skin of my penis and not above the penis. What is that might have happend when I asked this to the doctor they said the virus can transfer through touching the fluids and by touching the genitals also...... so what do you say Grace. Please suggest now I am deeply worried about HIV however I gave a HIV test also and waiting for the results to come this week. its already 6 weeks after exposure. I got some sore throat, running nose, nausea and body aches, small bumps on my skin... worrying me a lot all these :(

hpv isn't transmitted through fluids, it's from skin on skin contact.

I'd see a dermatologist to confirm that these are warts .

why dont that happen. I heard that even touching the condom having the viaginal fluids will transfer the fluids right??? i am pretty sure that the condom did not break. In that case I don see any way that can pass through it. Please tell me what else I can do in order to make sure that I am HIV free....... Thanks.... the doctor did not refer me to a dermatologist he prescribed medicines for treatment. Please clarify

it's more likely you contracted warts through the sex act itself, not from your hands with taking off the condom. condoms are not 100% protection against warts but  they help.

are you treating the warts? did your doctor refer you to a dermatologist for treatment?

yes I am having genital warts now. I donno how I got that.. used a condom thou.....the doctor is saying that they might have come when I touched the condom with my fingers and then my penis with the fingers again. I am really freaked out here.... do you have anything to say about this. Given if there is a hole in condom, i did not ejaculate in the condom I did it only once I completed the sex, will the hiv tranfer take place thru the holes in general?

Hi,

I just came to know that I am caught with HPV infection though I used a Condom, can you tell me what is the reason behind. I believe that I did not wash my hands after removing the condom from my body and touched the penis once it was removed. Can you please explain what went wrong. Thanks.

spermicidal means it's kills sperm. it doesn't kill bacterial and viruses.

stop worrying so much about this!!!

I just got to know that Spermicidal condoms dont provide protection is it so? I used the spermicidal ones only and I read in the internet saying that they wont provide much protection for AIDS and STDs. I used the condom thou but I am very much worried about it. Please clarify. I believe that I hav a small cut on my penis, its not bleeding thou but I am very much concerned about it. Please let me know if this is going to be an issue. That is a latex condom thou.

I had a small cut beside my finger tip. I believe that it is not a a fresh cut wound, may be like a day or two old. I happened to touch the condom with my left hand which has this cut. I am not sure if I did wash my hand or not, will there be any possibility for the virus to transfer. I heard that the transmission takes place thru the fresh cuts or sores. But since my cut is like a day or two old and also its not a very deep cut. It has traces of blood over the top, but just wanted to check with there be any problem if I touch the condom as soon as I take it from the vagina. The women is a sex worker and also I am not sure if she has any std. Please clarify me this. Thanks.

you tried to post on someone else's post in the experts forum so it was bumped over here. You have to pay to post there.

this was protected oral and genital sex. your sore throat isn't likely to be std related at all not to mention that no std causes symptoms a few afterwards either.

you did not give yourself anything from the way you took off the condom either.
