OK, just for clarification. Do you mean direct genital skin-to-genital skin contact? I'm assuming that doesn't mean genital skin-to-non genital skin contact. Thanks.
you can get std's from skin on skin contact but the risk is very low. we don't recommend even testing from that sort of contact it's so low.
Thanks again Grace. One more thing (I promise). Do you agree with Dr. HHH's statement that all STD's, including HPV, are essentially exclusively spread through either vaginal, anal or oral sex? He seems pretty adamant about that, irrespective of some other people's opinions or supposed personal experiences to the contrary (i.e hand-to-genital-to-hand, simple touching/rubbing, etc).
Thanks and bless you and all of the experts who take the time to help people like me on this great site.
it wouldn't even cross my mind as a potential risk if it had been me having an encounter like this.
Thanks Grace - so you think that my encounter was a "virtual" zero risk for HPV?
try something as simple as a barrier cream to the area for a few days - desitin, aquaphor, a&d etc. it will soothe irritated skin and help it heal.
Thanks grace, that's what most educated opinions say. Other than the contact with her vagina rubbing on my leg that I noted. She did give me a hand job but, like I said, no direct genital-to-genital contact occurred. I am just a little paranoid due to the horror stories out there. I just can't see how HPV could have realistically infected my anal area from this encounter.
I have tried to self-examine as much as is possible, mostly with a lot of feeling around back there. I don't feel anything unusual and have probably just irritated the situation by messing around back there. Hopefully I'm OK. Thanks again for your feedback.
more likely it's hemorrhoids, irritation or a fungal infection than hpv causing itching. have you done the flashlight and mirror look see at home so you could practice your advanced yoga moves?
Grace: Thanks for the reply. I'm in my 40"s so Gardasil isnt an option for me. I've been paranoid as I've developed some anal itching and thought / feared it could be anal warts. I really didn't think this encounter was a realistic risk either, but when you search the net and read too much then anything appears possible (and in some people's opinions, likely). Thanks again.
this isn't a realistic risk at all.
you didn't list your age but have you had your gardasil shots for hpv yet?
