Hey, the results of my culture tests of my penile discharge came back and the organism identified was staphylococcus haemolyticus and it was sensitive to cipro, co-trimoxazole, linezolid, and vancomycin. I still took the prescribed treatment of my doctor a shot if ceftriaxone and levofloxacin for 10 days. My questions are: 1. What exactly is staphylococcus haemolyticus? I haven't discussed it with my doctor yet. But he said to me over the phone that a gonoccocal infection should not be ruled out yet. Is the culture test accurate be s. haemolyticus the only thing it found? 2. My doctor also said i don't have to trade levox for cipro since it is the same class and levox is stronger. Is he right? 3. Lastly, I read that calcium containing products should not be administered within 48 hours from the injection of ceftriaxone and when on levox, you should also avoid calcium. I just had a cheeseburger from McDonald's for dinner. Does that count and if it does is my treatment screwed?
Post herpes questions in the Herpes forum please
Hi, grace I have this weird red thing on my hand. Looks to me like herpes zoster. My question is can you have herpes zoster in your hands even if you never noticed lesions in your genital area suggestive of hsv 2?
I can't comment on medication.
Yes it is very noticible.
You mean the condom itself breaks wide open. So if it happens it noticeable?
