What is my risk of having a std? Please help URGENT

Had unprotected oral sex with my best friend multiple times 6 years ago. We were both guys experimenting. he was 13 and I was 14. If he would have given me a std all those years ago would I have known by now?

We are both guys.  Do you think a doctor would even reccomend getting tested for syphillis?

Sounds very unlikely, and probably no risk for cathing syphilis if you don't have sex with other men. But as already said, if you can't shake these worries, get examined including a syphilis blood test.

That's my last comment. Time to move on.

I had a red sore that resembled a friction burn on my penile shaft a years  ago. Is there a possibility that was a chancre and I've had syphillis all this time?

"Do you think I need to even go to doctor to test or no since it's been 5 to 6 years?" Nope.

As for yearly checkups for STD, that makes sense if you have been sexually active outside a mutually monogamous relationship.

Would I have obvious symptoms by now after 6 years if I did have an std?

Hmmm.....  it was 6 years ago and now it's "URGENT"?

No significant chance of STD. It sounds like there is little chance your friend had any STD. Even if he did, oral sex is low risk (not zero risk, but much safer than vaginal or anal intercourse). You had no symptoms, which doesn't prove you weren't infected but is a pretty good indicator. And most STDs would have been cleared by the immune system within a few weeks or months. So I see no cause for worry.
