Do I have NGU?

It all started when I got Chlamydia from my fiance.  My symtoms were fever, vaginal and anal itching, and just a bad smell exspecially from the anal area.   I went to my doctor and got tested, and he gave me the antibiotics for Chlamydia.  When I took them, I had sever diarrea, and sever abdominal pain.  After that everything was ok for a few weeks.  I then started smelling bad. I was sweating alot under my armpits, pelvic area and anal area.  I felt like my body was trying to fight off some sort of infection, It felt like I was having hot flashes. I also was getting a mucopurelent discharge that looked yellow/green.  I would pass gas with out even knowing.  I went to my doctor and told her, but she looked at me like I was crazy.  She said nothing.  She retested me for Chlamydia, and that was negative.  Went back and she only tested me for vaginal bacteria, gonarrea, and that came back negative.  After that she has said nothing and done nothing.
I had to quit my job because I was smelling.  I could take 5 showers a day, and the smell would come back right away!
I heard that my ex-fiance was suffering from some Ureathral infection as well, which I believe could be the NGU infection.

Could I have this NGU, or what else could it be?

I would also check for hormonal issues.

And it might be time for a new doctor.  You could have had PID or something.  Are you still having pain?

Did the doctor do an endocervical swab to send off to the lab to see what grows?

You could have a bacteria that causes NGU, but it would not affect you in the same way as it would a guy.

You might try posting in women's health as well.

You have tested negative for stds.
