STD symptoms from cunnilingus?

2 weeks ago I performed cunnilingus on an escort for about 10 minutes. The following day I had a irritated/burning sensation on my tongue (felt like I burned it with hot liquid) that lasted for a week. At the same time my eyes started to get red so I ditched my contacts for a week and still have redness in one eye 2 weeks later (I have no previous history/issues with my eyes like this).

What is the risk that I have an STD based on the symptoms above? There is a syphilis outbreak in a nearby city that has me worried.

Also, is it possible to touch STD infected genitals and transfer the infection to one's eye?

Thank you in advance.

Update: Negative for syphilis at three weeks. I still have two circular painless lesions on the sides of my tongue, but they havent really turned into chancres (from photos and descriptions on the net). Not out of the woods yet as I will retest at 6 weeks. I hate waiting, it's the hardest part. Also cannot find a discrete place to get a throat swab for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Thanks for the update.
Don't know if it's any use to you but you can buy oral chlamydia and gonorrhea test kits online and post them back for results.

Hi getting any std from giving a female oral sex is as about low risk as possible as the bigger risk is when a person gives a penis oral also not std show symptoms the next day.
Test for syphilis and herpes only if you have a long term partner or if you develop lip sores about 2 weeks later.

Hey Dave, now at 3 weeks I noticed a painless white ring on the right edge of my tongue with the center being red, about 1/4" diameter. I went to get tested for syphilis, although it has only been 3 weeks.

Am I over reacting?

Is it possible for me to transmit syphilis to someone else via genital contact if only symptoms are in my mouth?

Thanks.
Can you please post your results when you get them
