I met doctor, he suggested me to test HSV2 igm and igg.
I got my results and are igg negative and igm is positive. I am bit worried about iGM positive result.i came to know from lot of posts that IGM results are not accurate. But my doctor said you have herps from long back and you have antibodies and you can start antiviral medicines for 15 days then retest again for Hsv2 IGG and IGM. I am really worried about this. Can you please tell me i have herpes or not.  I used hydrocortisone one month before test and rash was disappear. I explained him about all the situation what I described above. For the rash he gave tablets and powder and cream and for HSV2 he gave me antiviral medicines. IGM shows positive in future whether I have a chance to get HSV2? ?  Kindly help me. I am in big situation and planning to get married in 6 months. Please help me. Please
