Japan Prostitute

Hello. So last night I had sex with a prostitute in Tokyo. I don't know why. She applied the condom and we had sex for a total of about 8 minutes. Today I'm regretting it and have been browsing the forums to gather more information. I am really concerned about Herpes because I know that it can be spread through contact and is incurable. Could a knowledgeable person please help me out here? I didn't see any sores on her but it was really dark. What are the chances I could get herpes or anything else? If I did contract something, will it make a difference if I go to a (Japanese) hospital sooner than later and take something? If there's anyway around this I want to know. Obviously I'm pretty worried about it.

Would pubic hair act as a buffer between the skin for the virus? Also she used a wipe to clean the region around my penis after sex, would this make any difference? The past 3 days have felt like 3 weeks. I don't know how I can hold out for so long.

I can't thank you enough for your quick responses. It seems that all variables taken into account there is actually a very real and moderately high chance of getting herpes in this sort of encounter. I really don't know how to handle this. People say the odds are in my favor but I just don't see how. It seems like there are several people that frequent prostitutes and don't get STD's but I just don't know, especially here in Japan where there are so many sailors etc. I know all it takes is one time. I feel so overwhelmed and miserable. I don't know how I'm going to get through this...

hi again,

It is NOT obvious if they are having an outbreak.   Sometimes there is nothing before the outbreak or shedding of virus.  Then again if you see the outbreak it is obvious.   I don't know the answer to you second questions.

Your very welcome.   I know its rough, but its going to make you a better person.

I hope.

I see. There is another question that I have been wondering about. I'm trying to analyze the variables here. It was very dark in the room and being drunk I didn't really inspect her vaginal area for lesions or sores.

Is it obvious if they are having an outbreak? I'd like to hope that a CSW wouldn't have a client while she was having an outbreak but I don't know. I have heard also that it is very painful for a person having an outbreak to have sex. Is this always true? Thanks for your help this is a very rough time for me.

heyy

Well, if 60 days go by and you see no ucerative lesions, or blisters appear I will say you are looking good.

Feeling tired is  because you need more coffee or didn't get enough sleep.  Neither symptom is consistent with herpes.

Not trying to spam here but today I have been feeling tired and have a strong lack of appetite. Would these indicate any sort of oncoming herpes symptoms?

Also, how many days should pass before I feel that I am perhaps out of the woods due to lack of symptoms?

Hello again,

I really don't know how to answer your question ---other than to encourage you to read Dr. HHH's responses to herpes infection from condom exposure to prostitutes.

But in my opinion, the chance is low that I would bet money on it ---as the odds are in your favor that you didn't get infected from this one time exposure.

Thank you so much for your response. As I read through these forums I see posts of people in my position. So full of regret right now, when you say low, how low? Sorry just very concerned. And thank you again so much.

Hello

Yea, a knowledgeable person can help you out.  The chances that you could get herpes is low.   Because you used a condom for vaginal insertive sex the chances of getting chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, Hep B, and C, is ZERO.

We don't recommend testing for this exposure, the only way around this is coping with your anxiety and knowing that you'll be alright.
