Sore in Mouth

A friend of mine has pink sores at the back of her tongue just on the sides at the back they are small in size and pink in color, they are not painful. In the morning she sometimes has a sore throat. What could it be? Very worried for her.

we can't even begin to diagnose what is going on.  your friend needs to follow up with her provider if she is concerned.  this is not a std related issue.

Thank you could it be enlarged circumvallate papillae? These pink sores in the mouth showed up after she used listerine mouth wash for the first time. Did you have yours checked out by a doctor.
