Measuring STD Risks

Hello,

8 Weeks ago I have had protected sex with two different sex workers in one night. I ensured that I used protection both times. The sexual activity lasted for 10 mins each. Once with oral sex that was for 2 mins.

I want to curb my anxiety that is making me dead worried about “imaginative symptoms” such as itching. No other symptoms to report.

Based on the above is tested adviced?

Was the oral sex also protected?  If it was, I see no reason to test unless it will ease your anxiety.

No the oral sex which lasted two minutes was not protected.
Receiving oral sex (I'm assuming you received - if that's not correct, let me know) puts you at risk for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and genital herpes type 1, if you don't already have oral herpes type 1.

Oral sex is lower risk than vaginal or anal sex, and most experts don't think one act of oral sex warrants testing.

You can test for all of it now if it will ease your mind, but if you haven't had symptoms beyond the itch, I wouldn't worry.  If you have a regular partner you are concerned about, you can test now for conclusive results.

Awesome!

Thank you so much for reassuring me. I have had a sigh of relief reading your assessment.

Have a wonderful day/evey
You're welcome. Take care. :)
