Well that's true hey. I've learned quite a lot about STDs after I had my own mistake. If you read some HIV forums where people are afraid of catching HIV, they first are convinced that they have it, and when the test turns out to be negative, they keep on digging more information online just to seek the next disease they might have. If you try to self-diagnose, it's possible to find hundreds on diseases that match a symptoms you have had, even though that particular disease hasn't been around for decades. That's why it's always more efficient to seek a pro and consult them instead of trying to make the diagnosis self.
I doesn't matter where you will go to get tested as long as you will get rid of your anxiety and stop posting numerous threads without a really good question. When I was in trouble, I googled the nearest walk-in clinic, where they took a swab and a blood test and sent those to a lab (or checked 'em in their own, I dunno). Anyway, the point is that if you have symptoms or doubt, get tested and stop searching horror stories from the web. Here you can find 1000 diseases you did not know yesterday, but you think you have today. It will only crack your nerves and does you no good.
Take care.
No difference except cost. Your county health department will have the cheapest testing available. In my county, it's all free. Even my hepatitis B vaccination was free.
That's why there's a good news-bad news thing to the web and all of the information available. The hypochondriacs can run with it good, and much of the time they can't let it go. It just continues to feed on their fears and anxieties. These forums are simply saturated with hypos, though. It surprised me when I first got here.
Okay, Ripazzio is hilarious. LOL. 1,000 diseases and horror stories! Oh my goddess! That's too funny.
