burning when urinating !!

I noticed a few days ago that I have a burning sensation when i urinate, Im kind of freaked out Its not really painfull im just nervous I dont have any other symptoms that would make me think i have a std or uti but all help seriously appreciated

It might slow the infection, but that wouldn't cure any stds, most likely.

Just go get tested.  And I agree 100% with what Vance said about resistance, etc.

Never self medicate. it's not a good idea because if you do not have an STD your body might start to build up a resistance to the drug which would make it harder to treat if you got it in the future. Also it may produce side effects.

thanks but i was also wondering if i took Oxytetracycline tablets 2 twice a day could that stop the burning ??

It sounds like you already know it could be an sti, so its time to get tested.

Give your doctor a call and tell them you have symptoms of an std (otherwise they might try to give you an appt 5 weeks from Friday or something), or find an std clinic near you and go there.
