Oral Sex Risk for HIV/STD

Approximately 30 days ago, I received unprotected oral sex from a pro.  Vaginal sex was protected with a condom.  I am symptom free and show no signs of any STD.  Is there any testing that I should do to ensure that I am HIV/STD free?  Concerned about spreading anything to my significant other.  Thanks

Hey again,

I knew you were male, as I don't know any women who visit CSWs.   ;)

If you're worried about the "unknown" (asymptomatic STDs), then go get tested.  If they do find something, you didn't get it from the exposure you described above.

Thank you for the reply.

I should have mentioned I am male. While I am symptom free, I worry about the "unknown" as males often times are symptom free from STD's

Hi

You were at LOW risk from the unprotect oral sex for some bacterial STDs, e.g., NGU. syphilis.   And a  LOW risk for viral STD: herpes.   The risk is so low you shouldn't worry about this (especially now that its been one month).

You were at ZERO risk for the protected vaginal sex for HIV, gonorrhea, chalmydia, Hep B.

If this has been your only exposure I see no reason to test.
