Anyone have any ideas?

Ok so I had unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a CSW. I have ruled out HIV due to my risk assessment but about 3 months later I am now experiencing minor oral thrush, minor neck / inner ear pain, and my skin is sensitive to heat/sweating. My girlfriend is now complaining of sensitive skin and is having bad cervical pains. It is her period time but she already bled a bit but is having more cramps. In the past I have had HSV-2 like spots on my penis that would come no more than 1 at a time. I didn't know if I now have HSV-1 due to the neck/ear pain and the oral thrush. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I have very similar symptoms: white tongue, ear bleeding, and any others that are too numerous to mention (feel free to archive some of my posts if you are interested). I'm almost certain that it is caused by some mysterious virus other than HSV-2. The past year has been one of the most stressful and depressing of my life.

I ask what particular side you experience pain because, as strange as this sounds, for some reason I think this virus affects the left side of the body more than the right (not exclusively, however). I've noticed over the past year that my symptoms have improved in many areas but have not completely stopped. I'm praying everything will clear up within the next 18 months at the most and I won't be contagious.

BTW my sexual history prior to this all happening was giving unprotected oral to a stripper. Very depressing...

I'm just curious about what side of your neck you are experiencing pain?

I would highly recommend STD testing if you've had unprotected sex anytime in the past... You can have one office visit and get it all done in one day... better to know then play the guessing game

It's just the timing is very strange. I've never had oral thrush of any kind in my life, nor have I had minor neck pain on one side. But 3 months after the CSW. Here they are. Hmmm. I've never been STD tested no.

Oral is a low risk exposure for certain STD including: Gono, HSV, Syphilis and NGU... your symptoms above dis not related to any std.

If you've ever experienced a rash down yonder you should see your doctor before it clears up. Have you ever tested for STDs... in general not related to you last exposure with the CSW. If not I would recommend getting tested to find out your status since you've had herpes symptoms you should consider it... but again your risk above was a low risk.
