Pearly Penile Papules or HPV???

Hi.

Hoping you guys can give me a little advice.
I have recently been made aware of how common genital warts are becoming, and this has got me worried.
On my penis,  i have a a few very small white spots, that are less than 1mm across. they are at different points  around the corona, with one being slightly above it. There are maybe 3-5 in total, and they are spread around the corona (ie, not i a cluster). They have been there for a while, and i have never thought anything of them.

I am 21 years old, and have only had 2 sexual partners. They have both been steady girlfriends.
I was with my first partner for approx 8 months, and we DID have unprotected sex (as she was on the contraceptive pill, and told me she had been to the STI clinic between her last sexual partner and me). We split up about 15 months ago.

My current sexual partner has been my girlfriend for about 11 months, and we HAVE NOT had unprotected sex. I am her first sexual partner.

I had an STI check about 3 months ago, and was all clear.
At least one of the spots was there at the time, and the doctor did an examination of my penis, and did not mention them.

I am worried however that the doctor may have missed it because it is so small.

Is it likely that these are simply PPP?
I have looked at all the pictures of genital warts on google images, and non look like the things i have.

The following link shows a picture from google images which shows Pearly Penile Papules, which are the closest picture i can find to what i have, although the spots are not in clusters as they are in the picture:

Thank you in advance for any replies, i have got myself very worried about this!

I have just seen my GP, and she told me what i have is NOT a genital wart :).

She wasn't too happy with me for making an urgent appointment to see her, but she seemed ok after i told her how worried and anxious i had been about it.

So i am ok for now, thanks for your advice, it helped me calm down and focus just by being able to talk to someone about it :).

thanks again auntiejessi, you're a star!

Thanks auntiejessi.

I'm going to try and get an appointment at my doctors this morning.

I'm so worried about this, hopefully everything will be ok.

Thanks again.

If they've been there for a year, with no change, my guess would be papules, not warts.

But do go see the doctor for a definitive diagnosis.

Thanks Auntiejessi.

I cant remember exactly, but they haven't come recently.
I would say at least a year, and they haven't gotten any bigger. They are barely noticeable, it is only after hearing about HPV that i have worried myself.

They have never itched, or felt any irritation at all. They have never gotten any bigger or anything either.

I know i will probably have to go to my docs, was just hoping i might be able to put my mind at rest.

Do you have any opinions to what they may be?

Thanks again.

How long have you had these spots?

We can't tell you what it is - we aren't doctors, and even a doctor shouldn't be diagnosing without examining you.  Since you are concerned, you should get checked with your doctor, and point them out.
