Herpes?

I have a bump on the edge of my penis head where the foreskin meets the head.  It doesn't hurt or itch.  I haven't been sexually active in 4 months however had had multiple sexual partners and the rare unprotected sex.  The bump has been there for about a week now and the rough skin has decreased with the application of gold bond for men.  I do masturbate quite frequently.  The bump appeared to have a small white head and when i applied slight pressure the head kind of popped off the top.  Im honestly just confused if its herpes or not or any other possible STD I have a dermatologist appointment Monday for a followup on ringworm... any chance that could have anything to do with the toughened skin on my penis head?
Thanks for your time...
