Pimples on Scrotum???

I am a 29 yr old male.  I recently was tested for most STD's, my HSV-1 test came back positive, HSV-2 did not.  It may be the first time I have noticed anything but I was trimming my pubic area when i notice a few red spots and a couple of blisters on my scrotum.  These were spread out across, nothing too noticable, they were slightly irritable but not consistently or really painful.  I popped one thinking it was just an infected hair or pimple.  There was some offwhite colored puss.  I'm concerned that I have genital herpes from the HSV-1, but I cant seem to find any pictures or examples of this of any kind of herpes that looks like this.  I have heard that if I had herpes i would be sure of it, but very unsure here.  Any thoughts would be helpful.

I was tested close to two months after the last time I had sex.  Thanks for the reply.

http://www.ashastd.org/herpes/herpes_learn_oralherpes.cfm  is a terrific website with info on hsv1 oral infections. At this point you really have no reason to suspect your hsv1 is anywhere but oral .  How long after the last time you had had sex did you get tested for herpes?

What you have going on now in the genital area needs further evaluation from your provider. It's more likely to be a bacterial infection though it could be something dermatological too.  It really doesn't sound like a herpes issue.
