Hi,
I’m a 43 year old male and looking for some advice.
I had 3 sexual encounters with a CSW 3 weeks ago, over the course of 2 days. I received protected oral sex on two of these occasions, and I’m unsure if the third occasion of oral sex was protected or unprotected.
The oral sex was rough enough. While there was no visible cuts, there was evidence of friction on the head of my penis.
Within 2 days I found I was urinating a lot… no discharge. No stinging when urinating, but the sensation of needing to urinate. I went to a doctor, and wasn’t completely honest when he asked if I had changed partners. He carried out a urine test and said it was clear and that there was no sign of a UTI. All the same he gave me a course of antibiotics (omoxycillin 500g 3 times a day) for 5 days, which I took.
2 weeks after my last encounter with the CSW, I then took a test for Gonnorrhoea and Chlamydia, and the results came back negative.
I still find I’m urinating a lot (more than 10 times a days).
This could be down to anxiety and nerves; I am married with a family but have a very inactive sex life so no concern of passing any potential infection onto my wife for the time being.
I have 1 or 2 fine paper type grazes on the head of my penis which tend to come and go on any given day. I am applying canestan cream daily as my penis is slightly sensitive from all the urinating.
Could you advise me from the information I have provided above whether there is anything to be concerned about from a STI perspective?
I have spent a good amount of time reading previous posts on your site which has proven very helpful but could do with hearing an answer to my specific personal issue highlighted above.
Thanking you in advance for your time.
Best regards
