Epididymis? Will it go away?

Hey Doc.
I had unprotected oral sex with a prostitute. A week later I went to the doctors because my testicals were swollen and there was a lump. She said it was epididymis and gave me 10 day course of antibiotics. But I still feel as if there discomfort and also there's  a burning sensation around my pubic area what can this be? Can this be folliculitis? Will this epididymis go away on its own ?

Takes more than 2 days for std symptoms to appear and if they did would be in your penis first not your groin. It would appear you have a bangging injury from the act itself.

Hi, its highly unlikely you got epidid from oral as any infection should have started in your urethra first and moved to the epidid so you would have had burning while urinating and a puss discharge. Its would be best to have a follow up with your doctor.
