Herpes,HPV,or just Paranoid

I recentley had a several month long relationship with a women-strictly vaginal with some oral sex. The sex was mostly unprotected. I have since developed dry patches of skin near the head of my penis, and more recently have developed several small bumps ( a small mosquito bite is a good description of the bumps) around my genital area. I have not had any flu like symptoms or any pain, just some minor itching.I am a little worried and plan on seeing a doctor soon-thanks for any help or advice

Thanks for responding to my post (Herpes,HPV or just Parnoid.) I finally got a doctor's appointment for Monday March 31 (my birthday of all days) I'm praying its not herpes-I have not had any pain or Flu like symptons and the bumps seem more like warts and not blisters.I hope I'm not just wishfully thinking the best. Thanks again

Hi there -

You could have a fungal infection, herpes, warts, etc - no way to really know over the internet.

You should see a doc as soon as you can though.  Once the symptoms start healing, it can be really hard to make a diagnosis.
