Possibility of vaginal secretions transmission to pimple/ingrown hair.

So, I made a bad mistake and got unprotected oral sex from a female a sex worker in Mexico that was followed by protected vaginal sex.

About 12 days prior to this encounter I shaved my pubic region.  At first I got a lot of bumps but I used some over the counter treatments that got rid of most of the redness and bumps.  However at the time of this encounter I had three pimple/ingrown hairs.  Two were 2 inches above my penis and one was about 1/2 inch to the side of my penis.  They were reddish bumps that did not appear to be oozing or excreting but did look red/raw.  Stupid me went ahead anyway.  During intercourse she was on top and grinded down pretty hard on me thus rubbing our pubic regions together.  After intercourse I took a shower and looked at the pimples and they appeared the same as before the encounter.  I will note that they look a lot better now (3 days after).  However yesterday I noticed that the one closest to the shaft of my penis had a small scab on it.  I picked it off and it didn't bleed.  In fact the skin looks fairly intact except for a visible ingrown hair.

My question is whether these raw pimples plus the grinding place me at risk of HIV transmission?  I didn't see her bleeding or anything but she made a comment in passing that her period was over.  I didn't notice her to be particularly wet from secretions either.  I will note that prior to engaing in oral sex she did inspect my penis pretty well before engaing in oral sex.

My fear from the oral sex is that she did have braces on her top teeth and I had a couple small white bumps on my penis (resembling fordyce spots) as well.

If anything this encounter has scared me straight.  I just hope I'm OK.

Please Help,

Stressed

Here is something I would do: Remove the hairs, then follow up with peroxide with calamine lotion. It would reduce in size the next day. Folliculitis can be many things to some, hell, some people would have it before and finally realize these bumps as std related. Anxiety loves to play that game.

Thanks for the comment.  I don't necessarily think testing is enforced and I read up on this subject and the manner in which I met this particular woman (escort) does not lend itself to governmental regulation. It was a really dumb thing to do.  I do believe though that those red bumps were ingrown hairs including the one closest to my shaft where I believe there was much grinding and touching of her vaginal lips.  I was able to remove hairs from two of the sites today (including the one closest to the shaft) and caused bleeding.  I didn't attempt to remove the hairs prior to my meeting with the escort and only used salycitic acid scrub and some over the counter bump remover (bump rescue and bump patrol) in the days before the encounter.

I was just scared that an ingrown hair qualifies as an open wound or break in the skin for STD transmission.

Again thanks and if anyone else cares to chime in, I'd appreciate it.

Unprotected oral sex is low risk for transmission. You can get gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes or syphilis. Gono seems to be quite the common one whereas chlamydia is uncommon due to the fact it is initially acquired by unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Unless there were blisters, sores, lesions, or chancres present in or around her mouth or near her vagina, herpes and syphilis is low but still possible if she was an asymptomatic carrier.Regardless, you had a protected affair so you can eliminate the likelihood of stds from vaginal sex. You do not need to worry about HIV either from this exposure because most sex workers do not have HIV due to their routine medical testing. They would not certainly want to endanger their lives as well as yours. This may be a dermatological situation and quite possibly irritation or friction from the vigor of oral sex performed on you.
