A UTI is not a sexually transmitted infection. It means you had an infection in your bladder.

Urethritis, an infection in your urethra, can be an STI.

How were you diagnosed with the UTI and what medication did they give you?

I had all symptoms of UTI but no discharge, tested my urine and diagnosed with UTI and I was put on antibiotics.  I think augmenting and I felt better after the dose. No sores or
If I had chlymadia or gornohea . I could have other symptoms like penile discharge or ... condom was intact so wondering if I got something on frottage.  Lady told me she has an vaginal infection and buy for her medicine to Insert the vagina prescribed by a doctor. Clotrimazole . I don't know if which kind of infection it treats. I went ahead and sex with her thinking condom is a safer sex how stupid I was.
If you took augmentin, and it cleared up for you, it was a UTI and not an STI.

You bought her clotrimazole? That's medication for a yeast infection, which can happen for lots of reasons, and is also not an STI.

Your wife is pregnant, though, and I understand why you are worried. After you've been off the augmentin for 3 weeks, test for all STIs to be able to put this behind you.
That's for your peace of mind, by the way, not because you had any big risk.
I schedule for a test on 5th May for all sti screening. What I'm so worried about I use condom all the time and never failed how i ended up getting UTi, & if I'm exposed to all other infections including hiv ,can someone get UTI without penetration,  frottage with no condom.
A UTI isn't sexually transmitted. It can be caused by something sexually transmitted, but it can be caused by many things that aren't.

You could have had a kidney stone, an enlarged prostate - both of these can cause UTIs. If you have diabetes, you are more prone to UTIs. If you hold your urine, it increases your risk for UTIs.
