Negative std results but still have epididymitis amd swollen urethra

Hi
About 3 months ago i had unprotected sex with a girl. 2 days later i noticed that my urethra had swollen and so had my testicles. I began to panic and took antibiotics i had in my medicine cupboard. The next day i went to my gp and he took a urine sample and prescribed me with 1g azithromycin and 400mg suprax. I took the medication and refrained from sex for 10 days. Symptoms seemed to get better by day 5 and my tests came back negative. I had sex ten days after medication and about a week after i noticed the same symptoms. I was tested again and given 1g azithromycin and cipro 500mg 2 pills per day for ten days. Tests came back negative again. Its now 3 months later and i still have epididymitis and swollen urethra ive never had any discharge throughout. Is it possible i may have had an std and the meds cleared it but epididymitis persisted?

I would have known if i had injured myself. This occured after unprotected sex with a girl with a repuatation for sleeping around. Ive never had discharge but the testicles and urethra are badly swollen. I also havr a dull ache in my testicles and penis that comes and goes.

Hi symptoms of a std infection would be a white puss discharge and burning while urinating that appear about 5 days after exposure. Just being swollen indicates an injury more than an std.
