Not sure if these are signs of an STI

So I had unprotected sex with a girl a couple weeks ago and now worried I have an STI.

Ive notice that i have cumulative papillae on the back of my tongue, which i never had before. My tongue also appears a little white (could be oral thrush), and i am sure there is a little spot on my uvula. I also have the flu at the moment (at least i think it's the flu).

I am being extremely paranoid i know, but do any of these indicate a high likelyhood of an STI such as HIV?

Thanks.

It really isn't, depending on where you live anyway.

I would tell you that the odds of you contracting hiv from a single exposure are about 1-1000
At least this is what the CDC thinks. Hiv is more commonly passed through Sharing needles. Keep your head on straight and keep telling your self 1-1000

Thanks guys. I'm going to get tested this week sometime. So worried though, my Biology teacher just gave us all a lecture on how common HIV is!

your first mistake was the unprotected sex, next time raincoat your pocket rocket, unprotected sex is just some minute while hiv is for ever, meanwhile stay calm and get tested after 6 weaks for peace of mind and 12 weaks for a conclusive result

It could be a lot of things, the best thing to do is get in to the docs Office an get evaluated. The only symptoms that you can real go off of are are a fever over 101 an discharge which usually appears pretty quickly. Get checked out an don't assume the worst

These symptoms are too general to say anything.
Avoid google. Odds are you are fine, but it will be easy to convince yourself otherwise.

Test for C & G now. You can test for syphilis and HIV at 6 weeks for fairly reliable results, and repeat at 12 weeks for conclusive results.

Use protection. Good luck, Be healthy.
