Possible infection from a Non-sexual massage

Hey all,

I am freaking out a bit here and would love some input and advice.  About two days ago, I went in to the hotel massage spa.  I had lower back pain that spread throughout my waistline and to my buttocks that needed to be worked on.  During the massage, the lady was massaging in between my thigh and groin, and also the area below the front waist and above the penis.  I had no sexual contact with her and she did not touch my penis.  She may have brushed against the scrotum a few times but not actually touch it.  Later that night, I saw the area was irritated and was developing a rash similar to chaffing.  Now, I'm freaking out.  Could it be possible that herpes or an STD was transmitted this way? Is it possible that she may have given someone a massage right before and could spread it to me with her hands? I am sure many of you might think of it being a stupid question, but I am truly worried.  Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you
