STD Issues

Dear doctor,
I had oral sex with an prostitute 10 months back. And after 5 months of expose I am having yellow discharge from penis, some discharge from rectal and I am experiencing a burning sensation on the skin at the back of testicles. And burning sensation on tongue. I went to a doctor and they gave me urine test but it came up negative. Then he said to test the swab and 1st time it came up with gram negative bacilli and second time with staphylococcus aureus when I asked for culture to do on the swab. Before this tests the doctor gave me 2 medicines
1) cefixime 400 mg
2) azithromycin 1mg
but even after that the issue was not resolved.
then he gave me cefuroxime 200 mg for 7 days, still the issue was not resolved.
then he gave me oflaxacin 200 mg for 21 days still the issue was not resolved.

**NOTE The culture report shows that staphylococcus aureus is sensitive for LEVOFLOXACIN .
Now my questions are:-

i)  Do I have gonorrhea or chlamydia even after taking all this prescribed medicine?
ii) Do I have Herpes (I do not have any blister and I have done only oral sex) ?
iii)Can it be NSU?
iV) Lastly what should I do now?

Any answer will be appreciated.....

Thanks & Regard
An unfortunate guy

If you have a whitish coating on your tongue, you probably have thrush (aka a yeast infection).  You and your partner (if you have one) need to be treated at the same time, or you will just keep swapping it back and forth.

you need to talk to your doctor about why he chose the medication he did. we can't  help you here with that.

Dear doctor,

I have only another question...I have done a culture of the swab discharge and it is came up with staphylococcus aureus and it is sensitive to the following drugs:-

clindamycin          MIC(mg/ml)- 0.06
tobramycin           MIC(mg/ml)- 2
gentamicin           MIC(mg/ml)- 2
levofloxacin          MIC(mg/ml)- 0.5
linezolid              MIC(mg/ml)- <4
vancomycin         MIC(mg/ml)- <2
teicoplanin           MIC(mg/ml)-  1
chloramphenicol  MIC(mg/ml)-  1

and it was NOT sensitive to oflaxacin and doctor precribed me to take oflaxacin ..and not the medicines given above...

My question is should I take any of the medicine mentioned above before taking lactobacillus CC ?
If I have to take then which once should I take?

(I am experiencing burning sensation in my groin area and on my tongue.
And there is a white code on my tongue).

PLEASE HELP ME

this is not the doctor's forum, you have to pay to post there.

you've covered most of your std related risks. odds are the burning sensations you are now having are fungal in nature from all these antibiotics. You might also want to stop by walmart or the drugstore on the way home and pick up some lactobacillus CC ( culturelle is the most common brand name for it ) to start taking to replace the "good" bacteria in your bowels that all those antibiotics have decimated now too.  Take it twice a day for the next week or two to help protect your natural protective bowel flora. A topical antifungal ( in the jock itch section ) won't hurt either.

wait at least 2 weeks after your last antibiotics and if you still have symptoms, return to be seen again and for testing again. this would not be herpes causing your symptoms. it also doesn't sound like nsu at all either and you already covered your bases for that too.   did you have sex with anyone else during 5 months after your oral sex?

oral sex is low risk for std's in general but not no risk. we recommend protected sex and protected oral sex because it works. something to keep in mind for the future :)
