Hi!

Last night I had unprotected sex and I'm wondering about risk of STD. She was a friend I met through a group of friends, and the vaginal sex (which followed a hand job) was very brief. I ejaculated in her within 30 seconds. She's clearly promiscuous. She asked me if I was healthy and disease free (yes) and I asked her the same, and she said yes. She's 24 and from San Francisco. I guess I'm worried about sex with my long term girlfriend and the risk to myself.

Thanks!
Nick

washing up after sex and peeing doesn't reduce your std risk.

The best you can do at this point is follow up with proper testing at the proper times since you had unprotected sex with a partner who is not your regular partner.  You can get tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia anytime after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hepatitis and hiv after 3 months.

the risk of a std from a one time encounter is in general low but not zero so since another partner is involved, best to follow up properly on this.

I should add that immediately after sex I washed my **** with handwash soap and had a pee. Does that make a difference?
