Looking for Urologist

Dear Dr. Handsfield,

I've noticed your contribution on medhelp.org, and would like to ask for your advice.
I am 30 and am suffering from prostatitis, that has been diagnosed by Dr. A as chronic non-bacterial.
However some STD tests I took with Dr. B, showed signs of Chlamdiya and Ureaplasma.
This is hard for me to rationalize to myself, as I've had the same single sex partner for the last 6 years.
Both me and my wife, have taken doxicycline, and apparently STDs aren't present in both.

But my symptoms haven't gotten better, there's pus every time I urinate.
And I am feeling discomfort everyday for the last year now.
I would like to better understand and treat my condition, I am looking for a good Urologist.
I am new to the Puget Sound area, and was hoping you could recommend me someone.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Dr. HHH doesn't respond in this forum.  If you want his opinion, you need to post in the std expert forum, which costs $15.

I would question what "signs of chlamydia and ureaplasma" means.  Either you have those or you don't.

There is also a good article on wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_prostatitis/chronic_pelvic_pain_syndrome

This is not the Dr's form. You have to go in there and pay money to post a question.
